Tuberculosis training for Granmedical staff
Manisa Private Grandmedical Hospital held awareness training due to World Tuberculosis (Tuberculosis) Education and Awareness Week. Şehzadeler District Health Directorate Tuberculosis Dispensary Unit Responsible Physician and Tuberculosis Provincial Coordinator Dr. Ayşe Pınar Balcan informed the hospital staff about tuberculosis.
Noting that fever, weakness, loss of appetite, bloody sputum, night sweats and a cough that lasts longer than two weeks may be symptoms of tuberculosis, Balcan stated that the most important issue in protecting the individual and therefore the society from tuberculosis disease is early diagnosis of tuberculosis patients and initiating treatment as soon as possible. Şehzadeler District Health Directorate Tuberculosis Dispensary Unit Responsible Physician and Tuberculosis Provincial Coordinator Dr. Ayşe Pınar Balcan's briefing was attended by Hospital Nursing Services Manager, Gift Gördes, some unit supervisors and hospital staff.
