The Department of General Surgery works in cooperation and coordination with many branches due to the breadth of its field of interest. Various types of cancer cases constitute the majority of General Surgery patients. Collaboration with Gastroenterology, Radiology/Interventional Radiology, Pathology, Medical and Radiation Oncology is carried out in the planning of diagnosis, surgery and subsequent treatment stages for these patients.
